Uninstalling the Oxygen XML Editor Standalone
Caution
 The following procedure will remove Oxygen XML Editor from
                     your system. All data stored in the installation directory will be removed, including any
                        customizations or any other data you have stored within that directory. Make a back
                        up of
                        any data you want to keep before uninstalling Oxygen XML Editor.
                     
                  
               - Backup any data you want to keep from the Oxygen XML Editor installation folder.
- Remove the application.- On Windows use the appropriate uninstaller shortcut provided with your OS.
- On OS X and Unix manually delete the installation folder and all its contents.
 
-  If you want to remove the user preferences:- On Windows Vista/7/8/10, remove the directory: %APPDATA%\Roaming\com.oxygenxml(usually%APPDATA%has the value:[user-home-dir]\Application Data). Note that this directory is hidden.
- On Windows XP, remove the directory: %APPDATA%\com.oxygenxml(usually%APPDATA%has the value:[user-home-dir]\Application Data).
- On Linux, remove the directory: .com.oxygenxmlfrom the user home directory.
- On OS X, remove the directory: Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxmlof the user home folder .
 
- On Windows Vista/7/8/10, remove the directory: 
Unattended Uninstall
The unattended uninstall procedure is available only on Windows and Linux.
- Run the uninstaller executable from command line with the
                     -q parameter.The uninstaller executable is calleduninstall.exeon Windows anduninstallon Linux and is located in the application's install folder.
