Adding Tables in Author Mode
You can use the Insert Table action
on the toolbar or from the contextual menu to add a table in various document types
            (DITA,
DocBook, TEI, and XHTML). This opens the Insert Table dialog box. Each
framework has a different set of options that are available in this dialog box for
            configuring
the properties of the tables. In all cases, Oxygen XML Editor includes some general
editing actions for configuring tables in Author mode.
