Functionality Overview

DocXtools delivers functionality across several broad categories:

• Discover—Automated analysis for purposes of quality control, troubleshooting, or improved document exchange and collaboration

• Cleanup—Automated cleanup to ease editing, pagination, and other legacy formatting burdens

• Styles—Automated and interactive style features to apply and maintain styles more quickly that using Word

• Cross References—Automated cross-referencing to transform manually-entered references into automated, hyperlinked fields

• Compare—Enhanced Word Compare and comparison intervention to ensure predictable results using third-party comparison software

• Document Conversion—Safely converts documents from .doc to the .docx format, and downgrades to .doc from .docx. Additionally, fix any layout issues that are undesired as part of moving to Word 2013 and later compatibility
